Local Government Engineering Services Pty Ltd is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm which practices in the areas of civil engineering design and drafting, project management, engineering inspection and computer related activities, but specialising in providing a full range of services to Local Government.
Quality Management
Whilst the work undertaken by the firm ranges from very small to large sized projects, Local Government Engineering Service's prime objective is to provide a consistently high standard of excellence in all that we do.
In order to achieve this objective, it is the policy of Local Government Engineering Services to establish and maintain an efficient and effective Quality Assurance Program, planned and developed in conjunction with all management functions, and fully supported by all members of staff.
Work Health and Safety
Local Government Engineering Services Pty Ltd considers that health and safety is of paramount importance in everything we do. The firm maintains a progressive safety manual which includes risk assessments and safe work method statements for workplace activities.
Local Government Preferred Contractor
In February 2010, Local Government Engineering Services Pty Ltd was appointed to the Local Government Procurement panel of preferred contractors. This means that Councils can select approved contractors for projects up to $500,000 in value from a panel of successful tenders without the need to call tenders.
RMS Panel Contractor
Local Government Engineering Services Pty Ltd is a panel contractor to Roads & Maritime Services for the provision of professional services including site management and road design.

Local Government Engineering Services Pty Ltd holds current insurance policies as follows:-
Professional indemnity insurance to a maximum value of $10,000,000
Public Liability insurance cover to $20,000,000
Comprehensive MV insurance of all company vehicles
Workers Compensation insurance covering all employees as required by the Statute.
