After achieving excellent results in his HSC in 2021, Hugh joined the Port Macquarie team in 2022 as a Cadet Civil Engineer studying part time externally through the University of Southern Queensland. Hugh is expanding his engineering skill set through both his study and industry-based experience with Local Government Engineering Services. He is eager in his learning and is developing his understanding of road design, stormwater design, 12D modelling, and drafting.
